"Needs attention" advisor suggests flying transatlantic route (AMS–MCO) with a Boeing 737-200

← Back to Help & bugs

Hi again,

I noticed what looks like a small logic bug in the "Needs attention" recommendations on the dashboard.

My transatlantic route from Amsterdam to Orlando (AMS–MCO, 7,291 km) had a low load factor last week ("AMS–MCO flew 28% full last week"). Because the advisor logic looks for a smaller aircraft fleet with spare capacity at the same hub to downsize the route, it is showing a button to "Fly it with B732 AMS" (my Boeing 737-200 fleet).

Obviously, a 737-200 doesn't have anywhere near the range to fly across the Atlantic from Amsterdam to Florida. It looks like the downsizing recommendation algorithm is checking for smaller capacity and idle aircraft at the hub, but might not be filtering out fleets whose maximum range is too short for the route.

I've attached a screenshot showing the "Fly it with B732 AMS" button next to AMS–MCO. Hope this helps!
