Freight in holds and freighters, freight contracts, charters and wet leases.

Freight

Cargo: freight carried, contracts offered, whether your network can carry them, and what they ask

Freight demand runs between places like passenger demand. It travels in the holds of passenger flights and on freighters, and counts in each route's revenue and contribution. Cargo shows freight last week against hold capacity, revenue, spot rates and your delivery reliability. Set rates sets spot rates for freight in your holds; By route shows what each route carries.

Shippers offer contracts on lanes, for a weight a week over some months, at a most per kilogram and for a reliability record. The list says whether your network can carry each in time over the next week. Contract freight loads before spot freight. A cargo operation that runs late loses contracts; cargo-only airlines are viable.

Charters and wet leases

Charters offered by tour operators: route, season, departures, seats, pay and when bids close

Tour operators charter whole seasons: a route, a season, departures a week in a time window, a number of seats and the most they pay a round trip. Bid before the closing date; a charter needing more seats than your largest fleet cannot be bid for. Charters suit airlines with aircraft to spare in a season.

Offer a wet lease hires your aircraft with crews to another airline; an airline short of aircraft can cover a peak or a gap without ordering.
